God, we pray for good consciences and God, we pray for sincere faith. Please, oh God, align our consciences with your word and your spirit that we might live, that we might think in a way that glorifies you, that we might think in a way that honors you, that we might make decisions and use our words in ways that are glorifying to you, in ways that align with your word and follow the leadership of your spirit.

We pray for purity at the core of who we are. God, purify our hearts, purify our desires, our thoughts, our motives, our deeds, everything, God. Give us wholehearted love for you and selfless love for others. God, we pray for love for you with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Maybe people we’re in disciple, making relationships with, for people in our churches, our co-laborers together in the gospel. We pray for these things in others lives around us, God, as we think about family members, friends, other brothers and sisters in Christ. So can we just pray that over each other right now, over each of our lives? God, we want these things that we see in your word. Not a fake faith, not a fraudulent faith, not even a weak faith, but a full, sincere, genuine, deep faith. Don’t we want a good conscience before God? A conscience that’s aligned with his word and his spirit and sincere faith. Don’t you want your life to be marked by love, by unselfish care, compassion, affection, desire for the good of others, commitment to the good of others, love that issues from a pure heart? Don’t you want a pure heart? Not an impure heart, but a heart that is pure in motive and thought and desire. To pray for love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere your faith and just meditate on each of those things.
#PURE HEARTS R US LOGO HOW TO#
I love verses like this that just offer a clear outline of how to pray for our lives or other people’s lives around us. “The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”
